1. Purpose and main priorities of the role:
The role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely execution of customer orders by coordinating production scheduling, shipment planning, and warehouse logistics. It aims to optimize service KPIs (such as OTIF and OTD), enhance operational efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through effective cross-functional collaboration.
2. Your responsibilities will include:
You will schedule the slitting machines in line with the service objectives defined by the Business Unit’s Supply Chain management (OTIF and OTD).
You will manage the planning of shipments to national and international customers, ensuring compliance with service timelines.
You will oversee the handling of finished, semi-finished, and raw materials in the factory warehouses, either directly or through external providers.
You will collaborate on proposing and implementing process improvement projects aimed at optimizing service KPIs, production efficiency, and order management.
You will manage KPI reporting in accordance with company standards.
You will interface with Customer Service, handling order confirmations and striving to best meet customer needs.
You will liaise with external logistics and warehousing providers, analyzing data and identifying trends (e.g., stock coverage, lead times).
3. Who we are looking for:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or economics will be considered a plus
At least 5 years of experience in the industrial sector, with a background in Industrial Planning
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and managerial skills, including the ability to lead teams, delegate responsibilities, and drive performance in a dynamic environment
High level of proactivity, energy, and a strong sense of responsibility
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
Ability to manage stress and handle high workloads with resilience
Advanced proficiency in IT tools (e.g., Excel), including ERP systems
Result-oriented mindset, pragmatism, and a customer-centric approach
Italian (good knowledge), English (excellent), Spanish is a plus
