Join Epta Group in Casale Monferrato. We are looking for a Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to join our team and support the procurement of goods and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness, supplier reliability, and high service quality.
Job Purpose
The Purchasing & Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing procurement processes, sourcing materials and services, and implementing cost-effective purchasing strategies. The role focuses on supplier coordination, contract administration, procurement compliance, and continuous improvement of purchasing efficiency to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities

Manage purchasing activities and ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, maintain strong business relationships, and support contract negotiations.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and ensure purchasing decisions align with budget and financial objectives.

Utilize SAP or other procurement systems to manage purchasing workflows and procurement activities.

Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and procurement risks to ensure continuity of supply.

Track procurement KPIs, analyze spending trends, and prepare reports for management.

Support new product and project development by identifying critical long lead-time components and defining procurement strategies to mitigate supply risks and shortages.

Participate in supplier selection, qualification, and development activities to build strong and sustainable partnerships.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.

Native or near-native Italian is mandatory.

Intermediate level of English or higher.

Experience with vendor management, contract administration, and purchase order processes.

Experience with SAP or similar ERP/procurement systems is highly desirable.
Technical Skills

Knowledge of procurement and sourcing best practices.

What We Offer

Base salary: From €33.059,00 gross per year (CCNL Level B2 minimum). The final offer will be determined using objective, gender-neutral criteria applied consistently across all candidates, including verified professional experience, relevant technical competencies, and the confirmed scope and responsibilities of the role.
