Job Description
We are looking for an
HR Business Partner to join our team, dedicated to the Operations area.
The ideal candidate acts as a trusted partner for Production, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance and Engineering managers, supporting people-related initiatives and processes end-to-end. The role contributes to workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee and industrial relations, performance management, organizational development and HR administration, ensuring alignment between business needs and HR strategy in a shift-based, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Business Partnership – act as the first point of contact for Operations managers on day-to-day people matters, coaching them on HR policies, procedures and best practices
- Workforce planning & organization – support headcount planning, shift/turnover organization and organizational development initiatives aligned with production volumes
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding – manage recruiting for blue-collar, technical and white-collar profiles (operators, maintenance technicians, shift leaders, engineers) and coordinate onboarding
- Industrial & employee relations – support relations with unions/RSU and works councils at plant level, contributing to a constructive industrial relations climate
- Performance management – support goal-setting, performance review cycles and feedback processes for Operations staff
- Learning & development – identify technical and soft-skill training needs together with line managers and coordinate delivery
- HR reporting & analytics – monitor key HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, overtime, training hours) and propose corrective actions
- HR administration & compliance – ensure correct application of the metalworking/manufacturing collective bargaining agreement (CCNL) and internal policies
- Continuous improvement – collaborate with Operations on Lean/World Class Manufacturing initiatives from an HR and organizational perspective
Qualifications
Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Labor Law, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within a manufacturing, automotive or industrial environment. Prior experience as HR Generalist/HRBP with exposure to Operations, employee relations and industrial relations activities is a strong advantage.
Know-How: Solid understanding of HR processes and Italian employment legislation. Working knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, preferably within the metalworking/manufacturing sector. Familiarity with shift-based production environments, workforce planning and basic HR analytics.
Language skills: Fluent in both Italian and English (B2 level or above).
Digital skills: Good command of MS Office; knowledge of HRIS/HR management systems (e.g. IRIS, Altamira, SAP HR, …) and AI tools is a plus.
Soft skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build trust with plant stakeholders at all levels, pragmatism, discretion and a hands-on, problem-solving attitude.
What We Offer
Indicative gross annual salary (RAL): €33,000–€38,000
Employment classification level: B1 – National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry
