Position Summary
Responsibility of all Financial BU Hose and Compound. Supporting BU Manager for strategic and operational decisions based on incurred and absorbed costs. Ensuring that accounting and policies are compliant with Parker and Governmental rules.
Responsibilities
Activate Business Partner for Business Unit Management Team
Location Controller responsibilities (Finance ledger P&L and Balance sheet)
Leading the local finance team (Leadership responsibility)
Support strategy development and deployment
Drive Decision Making within the Business Unit and Division to improve the
performance in all areas of the Win Strategy including:
Growth (quoting/pricing, margins, volume)
New product development (Winovation)
Operations / Supply Chain (AFE, make vs buy)
Facilitate and perform the variance analysis for the Business Unit with a strong relation
to the team performing the month-end close for the BU locations
Accurate forecasting and pro-active communication of surprises drive meaningful S&OP
Process within BU
Drive Accounting for Lean, seek for continuous improvement and foster the Lean culture
in the organization
Coordinate financial topics with related parties such as Sales Companies, EDC, FSM and
Corporate offices
Support the reporting for the division including Lean Income Statement, Win Scorecard
and Dashboards
Ensure Compliance with US-GAAP, Parker Policies & Sarbanes Oxley requirements and maintain an effective Internal Control system
Qualifications
Qualifications

Business-management study (Diploma with bachelor) or similar commercial education, preferable with Accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years business experience in Controlling

Knowledge in Financial Accounting in US GAAP, Italian statutory and as a plus IFRS

Availability to travel Effective leadership skills
Demonstrated successful track-record of implementation of change
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with automated accounting systems, spreadsheet applications and other office productivity software (especially JD Edwards and MS-Excel)
Fluent in English
