A Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of projects by coordinating schedules, resources, communication, and documentation. They work closely with project managers, team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and organizing project activities and timelines.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes.
- Track project progress and update project schedules.
- Communicate project updates to team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
- Coordinate resources, materials, and project-related logistics.
- Monitor project budgets and assist with expense tracking.
- Identify potential project risks and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure project tasks are completed according to deadlines and quality standards.
- Support project managers with administrative and operational tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira, or Monday.com is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Professional certifications such as CAPM or PMP are an advantage but not always required.
