This position will be a key member of the Global Indirect Materials Purchasing Team. As a member of this team, you will be shaping the future of Datalogic’s success through ensuring optimal purchasing decisions in the area of Professional Services, leading the strategic cooperation with Datalogic’s general functions, such as Finance, Sales, Service, Marketing, HR and Legal.
Role Mission:
Manages the purchasing function for the assigned perimeter to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost within the policies and guidelines established by management. Sets purchasing strategy for the assigned perimeter. This managerial position leads a group of subordinates.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates and implements sourcing strategy to maximize cost reduction, quality and delivery performance according to business needs.
- Establishes and implements procedures for purchasing goods and services.
- Leads the team to ensure commercial negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
- Manages relationship with both internal customers and suppliers.
- Ensures accuracy in reporting of savings and cost avoidances.
- Prepares annual budget with engagement of respective functions and departments.
- Proposes improvements of processes and tools.
- Monitors market trends, communicates risks and opportunities.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or other related fields.
- Languages: Fluent Italian and English; written and verbal communication.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in Purchasing and min 3 years in leadership positions.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Base Salary (RAL): €50,000 – €60,000
