About the role:
As a Service Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality media intelligence services to our Italian clients. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the local team for the daily creation and delivery of tailored press reviews and news digests, combining editorial judgement, accuracy, and responsiveness in a fast-moving news environment.
You will also work with AI-powered tools that support content production while relying on your own editorial judgement to validate, enrich, and refine the final output. As part of an international organization, your English skills may enable you to collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries and contribute to cross-border initiatives.
You will Maintain strong coordination with your direct supervisor in France, overseeing the regional execution of global directives and strategic roadmaps.
Your responsibilities :
Curate and generate press reviews based mainly on Italian language media.
Group and categorize information according to predefined themes and topics.
Filter and prioritize content in line with client specifications and scopes of work.
Monitor deliverable dispatches and track client feedback.
Provide production backup during staffing shortages; trigger and coordinate the emergency support team (force d’intervention).
Organize team meetings.
Participate in client meetings.
Work directly with the commercial team on incoming accounts and the existing portfolio (premium clients, high-priority/at-risk accounts, etc.), supervising and approving initial setups.
Prepare proposals and tenders (RFPs).
Managerial Responsibilities (30% Production / 70% Management):
Train, mentor, and lead a team (paid leave approvals, schedule management, overtime tracking, performance reviews, etc.).
Maintain communication with regional contact points across Italy. Cascade corporate updates while ensuring best practices and employee well-being.
Ensure balanced workload distribution across sub-managers and teams.
Create, update, and submit progress reports to senior management (N+1).
Ensure compliance with and tracking of SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Who you are:
You have a bachelor's or Master's degree in Languages, Journalism, Literature, Communications, or a related field is highly preferred.
Proven experience in media monitoring, editorial support, newsrooms, or service delivery—ideally within a fast-moving SaaS or media services business.
Native-level fluency in Italian with a strong, fluent command of English (both written and spoken) for seamless internal international communication.
A strong interest in, or prior exposure to, AI-assisted writing/operational tools is a major asset.

Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp eye for editorial accuracy even when working at a fast pace.
