About the Role
As part of our dynamic Sales & Operations Planning team, you will have the opportunity to learn how a cross-functional organization balances customer demand, operational capacity and business priorities. Working alongside experienced team members, you will gain exposure to key planning processes and collaborate with different functions across the business.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop a solid understanding of how strategic and operational decisions are made within a complex manufacturing environment, while contributing to planning activities that support the company's objectives.
S&OP is a set of decision-making processes to balance demand and supply, to integrate financial planning and operational planning, and to link high-level strategic plans with day-to-day operations on a monthly basis.

As a Sales & Operations Planning Intern, you will:
- Support demand planning activities by developing demand plans through the integration of actual backlog and future opportunities across different demand categories, including machines, spare parts and after-sales activities;
- Support supply planning activities by translating demand forecasts into resource workload and assessing available capacity to help ensure optimal resource allocation;
- Gain exposure to material planning and capacity check activities across Engineering, Suppliers, Workshop, Assembly, Testing and Installation;
- Support the definition and monitoring of warehouse turnover KPIs, contributing to initiatives aimed at increasing inventory rotation and reducing the value of idle materials;
- Contribute to financial planning activities through the simulation of revenues, orders, backlog, purchasing, cash flow and inventory scenarios
What You Need to Be Successful
- Master’s degree in management engineering or similar;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PPT. PowerBi will be considered a plus.
- Good command of English (C1).
- Strong analytical skills, and a detailed-oriented attitude.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
- We would also like to meet candidates with a tech-attitude, eager to learn how data platforms integrates with AI capabilities.
