Battery Service & BESS Team
Location: Milan, Turin (other locations accepted) | Travel required | Competitive salary
We are expanding our Battery Service and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) team and are looking for a motivated, technically skilled service technician to join us. This is a hands-on field role at the heart of the new energy transition — you will be servicing cutting-edge battery and energy storage systems for a wide range of customers and projects across Italy and beyond. If you are excited about the future of clean energy and want to build deep expertise in a fast-growing industry, this is the role for you.
Your Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose, and maintain battery packs and BESS installations both stationary and vehicle-based systems
- Perform commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of high-voltage battery systems on-site at customer locations
- Support new energy projects including grid-connected BESS, renewable integration, and EV-related service programmes
- Document service activities accurately, report findings, and communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Travel regularly to project and service sites across Italy and internationally — field work is a core part of this position
- Attend and complete training and certification programmes from battery manufacturers — continuous learning is expected and supported
What We Are Looking For

- Proven technical experience with batteries, high-voltage electrical systems, or power electronics
- Background as a vehicle technician, EV technician, or similar hands-on technical trade

- Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly, both nationally and internationally
- Open to manufacturer training and certification programmes you see learning as part of the job
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in the field
- EU work authorisation
A Plus — Not Required
◦ Experience with BESS, solar, wind, or other renewable energy systems
◦ Familiarity with BMS (Battery Management Systems) software and diagnostics tools
◦ Knowledge of electrical safety standards (CEI, IEC) relevant to high-voltage systems
◦ English language skills (other is a plus but not mandatory for EU applicants)
What We Offer
- Competitive salary that reflects your experience and expertise
- Real career growth in a fast-moving, future-facing industry
- Manufacturer training and certifications fully covered by the company
- A supportive, skilled team working on meaningful new energy projects
