What you will do
The Indirect Procurement buyer is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process for the assigned indirect commodities. The role ensures compliance with Group standards and policies while delivering optimal value through strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier management, and cost control activities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Indirect Procurement Category Manager in defining a strategic plan for managing the assigned commodities and achieving the results required by our company.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to define business needs and ensure alignment with procurement procedures and instructions.
Lead negotiations to ensure the best quality/cost ratio in indirect procurement.
Identify and leverage cross-regional synergies and intercompany sourcing opportunities.
Support the development and implementation of Master Service Agreements in collaboration with Haier Group procurement teams based in Italy.
Manage the full vendor management process: scouting, offer evaluation, SLA, T&C definition and contract drafting (in collaboration with the Legal department).
Process orders in the company ERP system and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
Conduct purchase cost analysis and prepare action plans to improve procurement performance.
What you need to succeed
Must have
Education: University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
Professional experience: 2–4 years of experience in Indirect Procurement or similar roles, preferably gained in the dynamic, international environments
Language: Fluent in English and Italian, with working proficiency in French and/or Spanish.
Technical skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common IT tools; SAP experience strongly is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Proactive mindset and a strong drive for continuous improvement and professional development in the procurement field.
Other: Strong interest in professional growth in procurement is essential.
