We are seeking to hire a talented and ambitious Trainee Lawyer to join our Investment Management and Funds e Financial Services team in Rome. You will have the opportunity to support Partners and Lawyers of the team in advising Italian and international asset management companies in the formation and management of alternative investment funds of all asset classes (real estate, private equity, venture capital and private debt), as well as institutional investors in their alternative investments. The team also advises clients regarding the layout of the governance system, the internal control system, policies and practices concerning remuneration and incentives, and the self-assessment process of governing bodies. You will deal with financial services regulation matters in relation to a wide scope of sectors, such as asset management, banking, insurance, investment services, payment services, electronic money and cryptocurrencies.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Legal research and due diligence;
- Assistance in drafting legal opinions;
- Assistance in contract drafting;
- Analysis of contractual agreements and other legal documents;
- Full engagement and involvement in client matters.
About you
- Law degree with great academic results;
- Candidates will preferably expect to sit for the first session of Italian Bar Exam in 2027;
- Excellent communication and drafting skills in Italian and English;
- Minimum 6 months' experience in alternative investment funds financial services regulation matters is preferred and will be considered a plus;
- Service minded, organized and able to meet deadlines;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Personal commitment and learning attitude;
- Energetic and entrepreneurial mind-set;
- Motivated and team player.
