The Role
FAAC Technologies is looking for a Corporate Infrastructure Manager for its Headquarters in Zola Predosa, Bologna.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the technical and operational coordination of the Network and Systems teams, ensuring the stability, security, and evolution of the company's IT infrastructure. The candidate will also act as a technical point of reference and will be responsible for the execution of infrastructure projects, working closely with IT Management, Cybersecurity, and the other business functions to operationally translate their risk analyses into concrete technical actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the activities of the Network and Systems teams, ensuring alignment, clear priorities, and effective execution.
- Support the technical growth of resources, promoting standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with IT Management on capacity planning, technology evolution, and infrastructure roadmap.
- Supervise the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall).
- Provide support for architectural decisions and third-level troubleshooting activities.
- Supervise Windows/Linux environments, on-prem and cloud/hybrid.
- Coordinate activities related to virtualization, storage, backup, DR, and identity management.
- Ensure availability, performance, and operational continuity of services.
- Support procurement activities in collaboration with IT Management.
- Coordinate infrastructure projects (upgrades, migrations, new services).
- Oversee the execution of helpdesk activities, ensuring that tickets directly assigned to the technical teams are managed effectively and resolved within the agreed SLA timelines.

What do You need to be successful?
- Significant experience in IT infrastructure environments, with skills in both networking and systems.
- Proven experience in IT project management and in coordinating teams or technical resources.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise network architectures (routing and switching), network security and firewalls, as well as management of site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
- Experience in managing multi-site environments and hybrid infrastructures, including integration between on-premises and cloud systems (Azure, AWS, or equivalent), and knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Skills in Windows Server and Linux operating systems, virtualization (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent), and Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions (e.g. Veeam, Zerto).
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management solutions (e.g. Active Directory, Entra ID).
- Ability to design architecture and produce technical documentation, with good knowledge of IT processes (ITIL or similar).
- Fluence in English.
- Aptitude for standardization and automation, technical leadership, and coordination skills.
- Structured approach to problem solving, ability to manage priorities and escalations, with an orientation toward objectives and projects.
- Previous experience in enterprise or multi-site environments and regulated contexts (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS2).
- Technical certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, cloud) and knowledge of project management methodologies will be considered a plus.
What do we offer:
Contract type: Permanent employment contract governed by the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) Confapi Metalmeccanica (CNEL C018).
Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €55,000–€65,000, depending on professional experience, technical skills, and how well the profile matches the requirements of the position.
