We are looking for an IT Financial Controlling Analyst to join our Headquarters in Parma on a part-time 12-month fixed-term contract.
The specialist will focus on global IT financial management for applications, primarily maintaining and analyzing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of IT applications and providing cost transparency to support application rationalization and optimization decisions. The role works closely with GD&BT Controlling & Portfolio Planning Senior Manager and technical teams to ensure accurate cost data and insightful reporting, without taking on full budget ownership or project portfolio management responsibilities.
- Application TCO Management: define and maintain a comprehensive view of the Total Cost of Ownership for IT applications, including all related costs (infrastructure, licenses, cloud usage, maintenance, etc.) to support decision-making on application rationalization and optimization.
- Monthly Cost Data Maintenance: own the monthly process for updating, validating, and maintaining application cost data and spending information. Ensure the IT application inventory and cost allocations are kept accurate and up-to-date, leveraging IT Financial Management tools and aligning with global IT controlling standards.
- Cost Transparency & Reporting: provide transparent reporting on application costs and consumption (including Cloud costs). Develop regular reports and dashboards that highlight key metrics (e.g., TCO per application, cost vs. budget benchmarks) for IT leadership and business stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and show-back of IT costs.
- Spend Analysis & Optimization Support: monitor and classify IT spending by application and service. Analyze cost trends and variances to identify opportunities for cost reduction or optimization within the application portfolio. Support the IT organization in prioritizing optimization initiatives to meet financial targets, while ensuring alignment with overall IT budget and strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, STEM-related fields, or equivalent academic background.
- At least 1 year of experience in Controlling activities, preferably within an IT environment or supporting IT processes.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP.
- Experience with IT Financial Management tools (e.g., Apptio or equivalent solutions) will be considered a plus.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
- The gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than € 35.000 (full-time equivalent), in accordance with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Industria Alimentare).
- The Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
