About the Role
The Front Office Supervisor plays a key leadership role within the Front Office team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences throughout the arrival, stay, and departure journey. This position supports the Front Office Management team in overseeing daily operations, mentoring Front Desk Agents, and maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality service.
As a visible leader and guest advocate, the Front Office Supervisor ensures operational excellence, resolves guest concerns proactively, and fosters a culture of service, teamwork, and continuous improvement consistent with Four Seasons standards.
What You Will Do
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Front Desk, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery across all shifts.
- Lead by example, welcoming guests and handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions with professionalism and warmth.
- Support, coach, and motivate Front Desk Agents, providing guidance and feedback to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure guest requests, inquiries, and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively, delivering personalized service and successful service recovery when required.
- Monitor room inventory, arrivals, departures, and VIP guests in collaboration with Rooms Control and other departments.
- Oversee the accuracy of guest profiles, preferences, billing procedures, and financial transactions.
- Utilize Opera and other hotel systems for reservations, room assignments, reporting, and operational communication.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Concierge, Guest Experience, and other operational departments to ensure flawless guest experiences throughout their stay.
- Assist with scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance support for Front Office team members.
- Support the Front Office Management team with operational projects, audits, and departmental initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and security standards.
- Uphold Four Seasons grooming, etiquette, and Forbes-level service expectations throughout every shift.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in Front Office operations, preferably in a luxury hotel environment of at least 1-2 years.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience within Front Office or Rooms Division operations is preferred.
- Strong passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach, develop, and inspire team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Experience using Opera PMS and hotel operational systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
- Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
- Fluency in English and Italian. Additional languages are a plus
