We are looking for an Engineering Tech Lead to guide and grow the team building our threat intelligence platform. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will be both an active technical contributor and the person responsible for the people, the delivery, and the technical direction of your area.
The team is small today — one senior engineer — and you will play a central role in shaping how it grows, both in headcount and in capability. You will work within a cross-functional, stream-aligned group of frontend, backend, full-stack developers, and security engineers, designing, developing, testing, and deploying features and enhancements that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate combines a solid full-stack engineering background with the ability to lead, and works in an AI-native way: someone who leverages AI tooling and agentic workflows to design and ship software, who cares more about outcomes than about the volume of hand-written code, has a keen interest in frameworks, libraries and design systems, acts as a customer advocate for the best possible user experience, and enjoys mentoring people and owning outcomes.
We build in an AI-native way, and we expect this role to champion that approach across the team. Making the most of AI-assisted and agentic development — to move faster and raise quality — matters more to us than how much code you write by hand: we treat fluency with these tools as a core engineering skill, not an optional add-on.
You will have the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-growing organization, helping protect our customers while working and learning alongside highly talented technologists and top-performing colleagues.
What you will do
Leadership & people
-
Lead, mentor, and grow the team, starting from one senior engineer, through regular 1:1s, feedback, and clear development paths
-
Set priorities, remove blockers, and act as the technical and organizational point of reference for the team
Technical & delivery
-
Drive technical and architectural decisions together with product and security, balancing long-term quality with short-term needs
-
Own end-to-end delivery: planning, prioritization, quality, and meeting deadlines, while managing technical risk
-
Stay hands-on in an AI-native way, using AI-assisted and agentic development to design, prototype, test, and ship product features, from broad concepts down to the small details, where the ability to deliver with AI matters more than the volume of code written by hand
-
Build software products that protect our customers from attacks and fraud at scale
Requirements
-
A genuinely AI-native way of working: fluency with modern AI development tools and agentic workflows, and the judgment to apply them well to build, not just to assist
-
Proven experience as a full-stack engineer, with a track record of delivering complex products end-to-end
-
Experience leading, mentoring, or growing engineers — formally or informally — and a genuine interest in people growth
-
Strong ownership of Agile ways of working and related tooling (Scrum, Kanban, Jira), from the perspective of someone who shapes the process, not just follows it
-
Solid command of version control (git) and related best practices (pull requests, git flow, etc.)
-
Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices
-
Experience with containers and CI/CD tools
-
Solid grasp of testing methodologies and automation libraries
