Role Summary
The Regional Sales Manager, Southern Europe is responsible for driving sustained revenue growth across Italy, Spain, and Portugal. The role owns both direct and indirect (partner-led) sales and is accountable for new business acquisition, installed base expansion, pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and customer retention. While formally part of the indirect sales organization, the role works actively across both direct and channel motions.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute a regional growth strategy to achieve and exceed annual sales targets across direct accounts and channel partners.
- Own existing accounts and partners in Italy while developing new coverage in Spain and Portugal, including onboarding new partners where gaps exist.
- Strengthen and energize existing partners (Ebit/Esaote, Agfa) and capitalize on the Agfa web-based PACS integration deployment in Spain.
- Communicate TeraRecon's clinical, operational, and economic value, differentiating against competitors such as syngo.via and IntelliSpace.
- Generate a qualified, budgeted pipeline of at least 4× the annual quota and maintain installed base attrition below 5%.
- Engage clinical and technical KOLs, deliver executive-level presentations, and maintain accurate forecasting and CRM discipline.
- Location: Italy (Milan or Rome), Remote - with 40–50% regional travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; clinical background in Radiology or Cardiology highly desirable.
- Native/fluent Italian and strong professional Spanish required; working English essential.
- 7+ years of sales experience in Radiology, Cardiology, Vascular, or clinical software/AI, across both direct and channel/partner-led sales.
- Demonstrated experience managing PACS partners, distributors, or VARs, and selling subscription/Cloud/SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with public healthcare procurement in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
- Proven track record of exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Knowledge of EN ISO 13485, GDPR, CE Marking, and applicable regulatory requirements.
