As Sr. Manager Quality Engineer for Power Modules (m/f/d), you will build and manage a team of product quality engineers that supports the lifecycle for all quality aspects of Power Module products equipped with SiC, GaN and IGBT. You will play a crucial role in driving and designing the quality management strategies, including the qualification approach and execution, for next-generation power module products on SiC and GaN technologies for industrial and automotive applications, collaborating with R&D and cross-functional teams across the entire product development lifecycle (development, manufacturing, quality, test, and applications). The ideal candidate is expected to step into the game and display his/her excellent quality mindset to help drive our innovations beyond industry standards. This is your new job:

Support and drive the release of Power Module products in SiC, GaN, IGBT

Manage actively customer requirements including product documentation
- Ensure product quality performance during development and after release
- Ensure compliance, qualification standards and policies, data analysis, risk and change management
- Be the voice of the customer, drive quality requirements and customer expectations related to power module product qualification and release as well as quality assurance and controls into the organization, considering the challenges of power modules design with SiC and GaN.
- Take responsibility with perseverance, represent the Quality Management for Power Modules within development, marketing, and operations to ensure customer expectations, product quality, and process compliance

Define the quality requirements for power modules to achieve a reliable and durable design till manufacturing

Correlate the failure mechanisms on power modules, equipped with SiC and GaN, with reliability measures to be implemented into the product quality

Drive early identification and characterization of failure mechanisms and link to performance and lifetime limitations through simulation and predictive analytics

Drive and manage the concept of reliability tests with external partners

Promote for implementation of quality procedures & quality standards (Nexperia, JEDEC, AEC-Q, AQG 324 and customer specific) in the projects

Serve as the primary support to customers on power module issues and complain handling. Lead customer requests using structured problem-solving methods. Prepare and deliver customer-friendly quality reports and presentations

Promote quality as value added to internal and external stakeholders

Responsible to identify and address quality gaps in product creation process

Define qualification requirements & support qualification of manufacturing processes
This is you:

PhD or master’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline
-
Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar position, experienced in power module technology and assembly processes preferred

Knowledge in semiconductor physics as well as in semiconductor applications, preferably in the SiC / GaN domain

Knowledge of international quality standards and policies e.g. AEC-Q101, AQG 324

Inclination and track records as a group manager with direct reports

Familiar with measurement methods and equipment as well as device testing environments

Familiar with standard software tools (e.g. Office), problem solving techniques

Strong collaborative and team-working skills based on structured, fact-based, and solution-oriented working methods
- Self-motivated with active engagement and being open minded, showing high quality mindset in challenging environment
- Excellent written and verbal English for international communication, good presentation skills and confident in customer and executive management interaction
