The person we are looking for will take on the role of Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d). The main responsibilities will be:
Drafting, updating and implementing maintenance documentation relating to Railpool locomotives operating in Italy, in the context of the ECM II Maintenance Development function in accordance with European Regulation 2019/779, in coordination with the direct manager and the central ECM II functions
Tracking and managing the hardware and software configuration of the fleet
Providing technical support to the other ECM functions
Actively participating in the international ECM II function community
Supporting the Italy ECM II manager in the continuous improvement of fleet maintenance development
Monitoring fleet performance in terms of reliability and availability
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in mechanical, electrical or management engineering disciplines
You have at least 3 years of experience in technical roles (e.g. design, RAMs, project management), knowledge and experience in the railway business will be a plus
You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility
You have excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
You enjoy working in a team and are a true team player
You maintain a detail-oriented mindset and are committed to complying with the quality and safety standards required of you
You are also able to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
You are highly proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
You speak Italian fluently and have at least a B2 certification in English
Salary : Gross annual salary of €35.000–€38.000, plus a variable bonus component. Placement within the salary range depends on the candidate’s qualifications, skills and relevant experience.
