THE ROLE
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group, where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to support IIT research activity.
Administrative support will be provided to the Computational Genomics Research Unit, headed by Prof. Andrea Cavalli, within the Center for Clinical and Computational Genomics coordinated by Prof. Stefano Gustincich
Within the team, your main responsibilities will be:
- Managing purchase orders and the procurement of goods and services via SAP, in compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures;
- Organizing national and international travel for Centre staff;
- Supporting Principal Investigators (PIs) in recruitment processes, collaborations, and affiliation procedures;
- Providing general secretarial and administrative support;
- Assisting in budget planning and monitoring for the Centre;
- Managing document filing and records systems;
- Supporting the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015);
- Organizing meetings and events, including related travel arrangements;
- Managing the calendars and agendas of Principal Investigators (PIs).
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong focus on stakeholder needs and expectations
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Experience in administrative roles
- Knowledge of the SAP ERP management system
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
- Possess analytical reasoning skills and a growth mindset
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- A yearly gross salary ranging between 25.500 and 27.000
- Health care coverage
- Remote working (up to 10 days for month)
- Candidate holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree who have not been resident in Italy in the last 3 years and move back to Italy to start any work activity, and meet specific requirements, can benefit from a 50% deduction on their income.
