KPMG Advisory offers consulting services to companies to assist them in business model transformation, process improvement and digitisation, risk analysis and management, and support in extraordinary finance transactions.
Specifically, when you join our Financial and Performance Management team in Bologna/Florence, you will have the opportunity to work on finance transformation projects, redesigning the control, planning and reporting models of leading companies.
You will join our rapidly-expanding team of young talents, which stands out for the quality and scope of its innovative projects, at our offices. You will work with colleagues that provide functional advice on corporate performance management systems, assisting clients in the analysis, review of designs and processes supporting the CFO and the subsequent development of technological platforms.
Specifically, you will be tasked with:
- redefining EPM strategies for leading Italian and international companies, assisting the CFO redesign the performance model;
- designing and configuring solutions to support finance and business processes and implementing them in consultation with the top EPM tool providers on the market;
- analysing and defining the new functional requirements of budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, sales and operational planning and product costing processes and implementing innovative performance management solutions;
- assessing the expected impacts and benefits of automation using business cases;
- monitoring pre- and post-transformation performance;
- defining the organisational structure, the skills, the number of personnel required, the training plan, the operating framework and the timeframes needed for the realisation of Finance 4.0.
Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics
This is the perfect opportunity for you if you:
- a master’s degree in business administration or engineering management, with excellent results;
- two to three years of experience in similar roles working in a company or for a consulting company;
- excellent knowledge of English, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad;
- problem solving abilities, an ability to never lose sight of goals, strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for teamwork;
- a desire to take on challenges and be comfortable in fast-changing situations where leadership abilities can make the difference.

Standard employment contract under the collective labour agreement for the commerce sector, with a starting gross annual salary ranging from €31,000 to €41,000. The salary is determined on the basis of objective criteria, including the candidate’s skills and experience assessed against the requirements of the role.
