To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Systems and Network Administrator who will be part of our ICT Infrastructure Department, contributing to the deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement of our Linux-based systems and network infrastructure.

DUTIES
As a Junior Systems and Network Administrator, you will contribute to the deployment, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's Linux systems and network infrastructure, both in the datacenter and across the campus network.
The activities will include (but are not limited to):
- Deploy, administer and maintain Linux-based systems (physical and virtual);
- Support the management and operation of datacenter and campus network infrastructure;
- Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance activities;
- Maintain and improve server and application configurations through automation tools and scripting;
- Support the deployment and operation of virtualization platforms;
- Monitor systems and infrastructure health, troubleshooting issues and escalating when necessary;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures;
- Collaborate with other ICT team members in Business-As-Usual (BAU) and project activities;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services, reliability, and operational efficiency.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields;
- Alternatively, a High School Diploma combined with at least three years of experience in a similar IT role;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic technology environment;
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems (physical and/or virtual environments), preferably Ubuntu Server;
- Basic system administration and troubleshooting skills;
- Knowledge of Bash and Python scripting;
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching concepts;
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Proxmox VE;
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude;
- Continuous learning attitude and commitment to professional growth;
- Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Experience or familiarity with one or more of the following technologies will be considered a plus:
- Ansible;
- Rundeck;
- Docker;
- NetBox;
- MySQL and/or PostgreSQL;
- Microsoft ecosystem technologies including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Windows Server;
- Infrastructure monitoring platforms and monitoring best practices;
- Veeam Backup & Replication;
- Infrastructure automation and configuration management concepts;
- SSL/TLS certificate management.

Salary range: 27.000€ to 32.000€
