MBSE/SysML System Engineer – Autonomy Assistance:
TXT E-tech is seeking an MBSE/SysML System Engineer to join an innovative aerospace project focused on the design of advanced pilot assistance systems and Human-Autonomy Teaming solutions for a sixth-generation fighter aircraft.
The candidate will be responsible for modeling the interactions between the pilot, autonomous functions, and software components dedicated to assistance and decision support. This modeling will serve as the architectural and functional reference for subsequent activities involving the definition of detailed requirements and software development.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain system models using a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach and the SysML language;
Define the operational context, system boundaries, and interfaces with other onboard technologies and functions;
Model use cases, operational scenarios, functional flows, and dynamic system behaviors;
Represent the interaction between the pilot, autonomous functions, and assistance systems;
Define levels of autonomy and policies for managing decision-making authority between humans and the system;
Model sliding scale of autonomy mechanisms.
Required technical skills:
Experience in system engineering and the design of complex systems;
Knowledge of the MBSE approach;
Ability to model requirements, use cases, architectures, interfaces, and dynamic behaviors;
Ability to derive functional and detailed requirements from architectural models;
Good knowledge of technical English.
Nice to have:
Experience in the aerospace, avionics, or defense sectors;
Knowledge of pilot assistance systems, advanced cockpits, or autonomous systems;
Familiarity with the concepts of: Human-Autonomy Teaming, Human-Machine Interaction, adaptive automation, and decision support;
Dynamic management of autonomy levels;
Knowledge of MBSE frameworks or methodologies, such as MagicGrid or equivalents;
Experience in managing requirements traceability and integrating with tools such as IBM DOORS;
Knowledge of SysML.
Education: Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Mechatronics.

The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 26.000 € and EUR 31.000 € gross per year.
The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
