We are looking for an Audio Visual Technician to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for providing support for AV conference spaces and systems. The successful candidate will provide technical and general support to ensure proper availability and functionality of AV spaces and equipment, as well as rapid-response troubleshooting expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide white-glove technical support for internal, customer, and C-level executive meetings.
Proactively identify potential AV issues and provide solutions to address concerns or needs. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of video conferencing services such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
Bring technical expertise and guidance for the deployment and operation of Crestron Flex and Polycom VTC codec systems.
Proactively monitor and manage conference room booking systems, assisting customers with room reservations when spaces are under repair.
Review standard setup specifications for meetings and conferences.
Contact clients to ensure proper setup of configurable rooms per specifications, including table layout, airwall opening and closure, and technology configuration such as microphones and projection equipment.
Ensure cleanliness, temperature, and functionality of conference rooms.
Apply electronics troubleshooting skills to determine and localize problems. Maintain conference room standards for signage, equipment, and seating. Respond to client requests promptly and ensure consumables are available.
Provide support for audio-video systems and media control systems. Troubleshoot and maintain audio/video devices and associated wiring.
Submit tickets with the IT department responsible for audiovisual technology. Perform routine and proactive testing to ensure equipment functionality before use.
Execute alignment and calibration procedures for audio and video devices. Communicate maintenance or repair needs for audiovisual equipment. Perform regular maintenance, software and firmware updates, preventive maintenance, and routine repairs to provide uninterrupted service of all conference room equipment.
Qualifications
Required:
Two years of experience in a client or customer service-oriented environment, preferably in a corporate conference center.
Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Office in an office environment. Familiarity with integrated AV systems and ability to learn new software as required for the position.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Experience with hotel, corporate conference center, or large enterprise systems. Fluency in Italian and English.
Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and manage time effectively. Experience with EMS or any web-based conference room scheduling system. CTS Certification. Crestron, AMX, or Extron Certifications. DSP Programming experience with BIAMP or QCS.

Garantire pulizia, temperatura e funzionalità delle sale conferenze.
Applicare competenze di risoluzione problemi elettronici per determinare e localizzare le criticità.
Mantenere gli standard delle sale conferenze per segnaletica, attrezzature e disposizione dei posti.
Rispondere tempestivamente alle richieste della clientela e garantire la disponibilità di materiali di consumo.
Fornire supporto per sistemi audio-video e sistemi di controllo multimediale. Risolvere problemi e manutenere dispositivi audio/video e cablaggi associati. Aprire ticket con il reparto IT responsabile della tecnologia audiovisiva.
Eseguire test di routine e proattivi per garantire la funzionalità delle attrezzature prima dell'uso.
Eseguire procedure di allineamento e calibrazione per dispositivi audio e video. Comunicare le esigenze di manutenzione o riparazione delle attrezzature audiovisive.
Eseguire manutenzione ordinaria, aggiornamenti software e firmware, manutenzione preventiva e riparazioni di routine per garantire un servizio ininterrotto di tutte le attrezzature delle sale conferenze.
Supportare attività di commissioning e programmazione secondo necessità.
Qualifiche
Requisiti:
Due anni di esperienza in un ambiente orientato al servizio clienti, preferibilmente in un centro conferenze aziendale.
Due o più anni di esperienza con Microsoft Office in ambiente d'ufficio. Familiarità con sistemi AV integrati e capacità di apprendere nuovi software secondo le esigenze della posizione.
Capacità di lavorare in un ambiente dinamico con priorità concorrenti.
Impegno a mantenere un aspetto e un comportamento professionale in ogni momento.
Esperienza con strutture alberghiere, centri conferenze aziendali o sistemi di grandi imprese.
Conoscenza fluente dell'italiano e dell'inglese.
Requisiti preferenziali:
Comprovata capacità di lavorare sotto pressione e gestire efficacemente il tempo. Esperienza con EMS o qualsiasi sistema di prenotazione sale conferenze basato sul web. Certificazione CTS. Certificazioni Crestron, AMX o Extron. Esperienza di programmazione DSP con BIAMP o QCS.
Estimated compensation for this position:
29.000 – 38.000 EUR per year
Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including, but not limited to, skills and competencies assessed on the basis of objective criteria.
