Job Description
Your Opportunity
You will be the technical heartbeat of our luxury Smart Glasses category, bridging the gap between luxury eyewear design and high-performance engineering. This role is a unique chance to introduce deep technical expertise — covering electronics, connectivity, and wearable systems — into a world-class design house.
You will act as the primary translator between our engineering partners, our teams (design, marketing, commercial), ensuring that groundbreaking technology is not just functional, but market ready. Your mission is to own the technical product lifecycle, collaborating with a global Big Tech leader to build a category-defining wearable that feels as good as it performs.
How You Will Contribute
- Bridge the Technical Gap: Serve as the internal expert on hardware specifications, connectivity protocols, and battery optimization to ensure tech features align with design and luxury standards.
- Master the Product Roadmap: participate in the management of the technical requirements for the Smart Glasses collection, translating complex specs into clear, marketable value propositions for consumers.
- Lead Technical Deployment: Partner with Technology Partners and Product teams to validate performance benchmarks, ensuring every feature, from AI integration to audio quality, is ready for global launch.
- Translate Tech to Story: Work closely with your peers in Marketing to transform "specs" into "benefits," ensuring our commercial teams and customers understand the magic behind technology.
- Analyze the Ecosystem: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging tech trends like AR components, miniaturized electronics, and firmware updates to keep our products at the edge of innovation.
- Drive Cross-Functional Excellence: Act as the technical point of contact for external tech partners, managing the integration of their hardware/software into our luxury frames.
Who You Are
- You hold a degree in Business / Marketing / Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science) or a related technical field. An MBA or marketing background is a strong plus.
- Wearable Expert: 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing or Technical Product Management specifically within wearables, consumer electronics, or IoT.
- Deep Tech Literacy: You have a solid understanding of PCB design, wireless connectivity, sensor integration, and the challenges of miniaturizing electronics for the face.
- Translator: You possess the rare ability to explain complex technical architecture to a non-technical audience without losing nuance.
- Strategic Mindset: You do not just see parts; you see a product. You understand how technical decisions impact the final consumer experience and brand prestige.
- Global Collaborator: organized and capable of managing complex projects across different time zones and cultures.
- Fluent Communicator: Professional proficiency in English and Italian is required.
