In particolare, entrando a far parte del Team di Climate Change and Sustainability Services di Milano potrai supportare le aziende nella transizione verso modelli di business sostenibili capaci di creare valore condiviso e nello sviluppo di metodologie e strumenti per integrare le politiche di sostenibilità nei processi aziendali.
Nello specifico, ti occuperai di:
- definizione di strategie e piani strategici di sostenibilità e valore condiviso;
- identificazione e valutazione dei rischi di sostenibilità (rischi ESG e climate);
- supporto ai clienti in ambito climate change: sviluppo di inventari delle emissioni GHG (Scope 1, 2 e 3), definizione di strategie e piani di decarbonizzazione e analisi dei rischi climatici fisici e di transizione;
- investimenti socialmente responsabili, finanza sostenibile e rating ESG;
- sistemi di reporting di sostenibilità: preparazione di report di sostenibilità/integrati, definizione di report specifici (ad esempio climate report, human rights report);
- gestione responsabile della catena di fornitura (definizione di politiche, modelli di valutazione, audit HSE, ecc;)
- supporto in ambito HSE (Health, Safety & Environment): compliance normativa, sviluppo e verifica di sistemi di gestione ambientale e di salute e sicurezza (es. ISO 14001, ISO 45001);
- sviluppo di modelli di economia circolare e di sostenibilità di prodotto (es. LCA)
- sviluppo di modelli di valutazione dell'impatto socio-ambientale.
Sarai coinvolto/a su progetti per definire strategie di governance, gestione del rischio e conformità legislativa nel settore dei Consumer and Industrial Markets.
Come As You Are - Le tue competenze e caratteristiche
Questa opportunità è perfetta per te se hai:
- Laurea Magistrale in Economia, Ingegneria o titolo equivalente - il Master in ambito sostenibilità costituisce titolo preferenziale;
- conoscenza delle principali tematiche di sostenibilità e/o cambiamento climatico;
- conoscenza delle principali linee guida per la redazione dei bilanci di sostenibilità, degli standard internazionali e dei modelli operativi di sostenibilità, definizione dei modelli di misurazione economica, sociale e ambientale;
- ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese, preferibilmente con esperienze di studio e/o lavoro all'estero.
- attitudine all'innovazione e allo sviluppo di nuovi servizi e mercati;
- elevati standard qualitativi e attenzione all'eccellenza professionale;
- ottima conoscenza di Microsoft Office.

KPMG Advisory offers consulting services to companies to assist them in business model transformation, process improvement and digitisation, risk analysis and management, and support in extraordinary finance transactions.
In particular, by joining the Climate Change and Sustainability Services team in Milan, you will support companies in their transition toward sustainable business models capable of creating shared value, as well as in the development of methodologies and tools to integrate sustainability policies into business processes.
As a member of our team, your experience will be put to full use, enabling you to become the point person for top-tier national and international clients.
We are recruiting a Junior Consultant interested in Sustainability for the Milan office to work on the following projects:
- definition of strategies and strategic sustainability and shared value plans;
- sustainability risk identification and assessment (ESG risks);
- support clients on climate change topics, including the development of GHG emissions inventories (Scopes 1, 2 and 3), the definition of decarbonization strategies and roadmaps, and the assessment of physical and transition climate risks;
- socially responsible investments, sustainable finance and ESG ratings;
- sustainable finance: development of solutions for our clients in the financial sector to align policies and portfolios with climate and ESG objectives;
- sustainability reporting systems: preparing sustainability reports/integrated reporting, defining specific reporting (e.g. TCFD framework) and filling out sustainability questionnaires (from investors and customers);
- supply chain management (definition of policies, assessment models, HSE audits, etc.);
- support clients on HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) topics, including regulatory compliance activities and the development and assessment of environmental and occupational health and safety management systems (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001);
- Development of circular economy strategies and product sustainability models;
- development of socio-environmental impact assessment models.
Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics
This is the perfect opportunity for you if:
- You have a master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. A Master’s degree in Sustainability or a related field will be considered a preferred qualification;
- You are interested in working on sustainability topics and ESG risks, corporate governance;
- You have excellent knowledge of English, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad;
- You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
