About the Role
We are looking for a Product Quality Manager to join our organization. The role is responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the entire product lifecycle, from development through customer delivery and after-sales support. The Product Quality Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives, coordinates cross-functional activities, and supports the enhancement of product reliability, robustness, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- define and implement the Product Quality strategy across the organization
- monitor quality performance of machines installed at customer sites
- analyze data from testing, installation, technical support, and customer feedback
- identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for product improvement
- collaborate with Engineering during product design and industrialization phases
- support validation and qualification processes for new products
- define and maintain product quality requirements and acceptance criteria
- coordinate the management of product non-conformities and customer complaints
- ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions and monitor their effectiveness
- manage quality escalations with key and strategic customers
- promote initiatives aimed at reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improving product reliability
- coordinate cross-functional teams and provide regular reporting on product quality performance
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
- minimum 5 years of experience in Product Quality, Quality Engineering, or similar roles within the automated machinery industry
- strong analytical skills and experience with structured problem-solving methodologies
- experience in managing product non-conformities and customer complaints
- good command of the English language, both written and spoken
- availability to travel to customer and supplier sites as required
- strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
- customer-focused mindset with a data-driven approach
- ability to influence stakeholders without direct hierarchical authority
- effective communication skills with both technical and managerial audiences
- strong commitment to continuous improvement and quality culture
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 47.200, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.
The compensation package may also include a variable component in the form of an annual bonus, which can reach 10% of base salary at target.
A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.
The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
