Position Summary
You will design, build and validate programming solutions that turn clinical and real-world data into clear, trustworthy results. You will work closely with statisticians, data scientists, study teams and external partners. We value curiosity, practical problem solving and clear communication. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Develop, test and document code to transform, analyse and report clinical and observational datasets.
- Produce validated datasets, tables, listings and figures that meet agreed standards and timelines.
- Support SDTM, ADaM and reporting activities, including study and standard program development, validation and review.
- Review and quality check code, outputs and documentation to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with statisticians, data scientists and study teams to implement analysis plans and resolve technical questions.
- Help introduce and apply improved tools, automation or coding patterns within an agile delivery setting.

Basic Qualifications & Skills
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Practical programming experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, biotech or a CRO.
- Experience with scripting or statistical languages such as R or Python.
- Familiarity with clinical data standards (for example CDISC SDTM and ADaM) or experience mapping and transforming complex datasets.
- Experience producing validated outputs and performing code reviews or quality control.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Hands-on experience with SAS programming and SQL.
- Experience preparing submission-ready files and documentation such as define.xml and reviewers’ guides.
- Experience building automation, reusable code libraries or tools to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools and exploratory analysis packages.
- Understanding of regulatory expectations for clinical data deliverables.
- Experience working in Agile teams and using collaboration tools such as Jira.
