In this role, you will a ssist the Site Manager in the planning, coordination and execution of on-site activities while gaining practical experience in site leadership, stakeholder management, HSE compliance, schedule control and subcontractor coordination. Act as Deputy Site Manager when assigned and support the successful delivery of project objectives throughout all project phases.
How you’ll make an impact :
Site planning: Support the Site Manager in planning and organizing on-site activities, including coordination of local resources, equipment, logistics, and project milestones. Assist in aligning construction targets, site requirements, and site organization with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Site coordination and monitoring: Support the coordination and monitoring of site activities from site mobilization through construction, erection, testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, schedules, and safety regulations. Actively follow up progress, identifies deviations, and propose corrective actions to the Site Manager.
Stakeholder relations: Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and local stakeholders. Support the Site Manager in daily communications and coordination activities to facilitate successful project execution.
Health, safety and environment (HSE) and project security: Promote and demonstrate a strong safety culture on site. Support the implementation of the project Health & Safety Plan, participate in safety inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments, and ensure that site personnel comply with Hitachi Energy HSE requirements. Escalate unsafe conditions and supports corrective actions.
Material handling: Support the management of material reception, storage, preservation, inventory control, and installation activities. Verify that Hitachi Energy equipment is properly handled and stored according to project requirements and manufacturer recommendations

Schedule management: Support the development and maintenance of detailed site schedules. Monitor progress against baseline plans, tracks critical activities, identify potential delays and contribute to recovery planning and implementation.
Cost management: Support site cost tracking activities by monitoring labor, logistics, accommodation, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Assist the Site Manager in identifying cost risks and opportunities and ensuring efficient use of project resources.
Deputy Site Manager responsibilities : When appointed as Deputy Site Manager, support the Site Manager in all aspects of project site execution and assumes delegated responsibilities during periods of absence. Actively develop leadership, commercial, contractual, and site management competencies through mentoring and coaching by the Site Manager.
Your Background:
2–3 years of experience in construction, commissioning, field service, site supervision, installation, maintenance, or related engineering activities.
Experience in the execution of HV/MV Electrical Systems construction projects;
Knowledge of HSE Italian regulation (ref. DLgs 81/08)
Previous experience with Italian utilities (TERNA/ENEL/EDISON) and/or in Data Center segment is a plus
Fluent in Italian and English
Willingness to travel and work on domestic and international project sites.
Availability for temporary site assignments according to project requirements.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:
Starting from: 38,000 € gross annual.
In addition to the base salary, this role includes a performance bonus and a results-based bonus, designed to reward both individual contribution and company performance.
The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
