Role Description
We are looking for a Specialist Conveyor Specialist with a strong background in conventional conveyor systems. The primary focus of this role is the maintenance, optimization, and customer support of conveyor technology in automotive paint shops and final assemblies. During the first year, the candidate will be assigned to a major paint shop project in the Maranello region, supporting the setup and ramp-up of the conveyor systems. After this phase, the role will evolve into a field service position with assignments across Italy and Europe.
- Support ramp-up and production stand-by of conveyor systems in a new paint shop project

Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for conveyor technology (skids, elevators, roller beds, AGVs, etc.)

Analyze and resolve mechanical and control-related issues on-site

Ensure reliable operation and performance of installed systems

Provide PLC programming and commissioning expertise

Program motion control and visualization interfaces

Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met

Support customer training on system operation and maintenance

Document service activities and ensure transparency on technical status

Gradual development into AGV systems service and support

Travel to customer sites across Italy and Europe
- Technical background in mechanical engineering, automation, or similar

Hands-on experience with conveyor systems or industrial equipment

In-depth knowledge of PLC software programming and commissioning

Skilled in motion control, visualization design, and programming

Proficient with Siemens TIA Portal, Studio5000

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work autonomously on-site and in teams

High willingness to travel and work in an international environment

Good communication skills in English and Italian
