The Group is looking for a Senior Controller to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Department. Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis , the successful candidate will play a key role in steering group performance, with particular ownership of shareholder reporting and purchasing/material cost controlling.
Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate periodic financial reporting to shareholders, including performance commentary, KPIs and variance analyses.
Lead purchasing and material cost controlling: monitor raw material price developments, analyze purchase price variances and assess their impact on margins and forecasts.
Support budgeting, forecasting and the strategic planning process.
Perform monthly closing activities, deviation analyses (actual vs. budget/forecast) and management reporting.
Develop and enhance controlling tools, cost transparency and reporting standards.
Act as business partner to Procurement, Operations and Group Finance.
Support ad-hoc analyses, business cases and post-merger integration topics.
Skills and Competencies
Proven expertise in cost controlling, ideally purchasing/material cost controlling, and in management or shareholder reporting.
Strong command of ERP systems (e.g. SAP CO/FI) and BI tools; advanced Excel skills; AI skills is a plus.
Analytical mindset, strong communication skills and the ability to present complex financial matters to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or comparable qualification.
5+ years of experience in controlling/FP&A, ideally in an international manufacturing or chemical/polymer environment.
Fluent English & Italian required.

Salary range for the position : €45.000 - €65.000 (the salary will be commensurate with the experience, with the seniority and the business context of the candidate)
