In this position, the candidate will manage end-to-end payroll and time & attendance activities, working in a dynamic international environment and collaborating with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to contribute to critical payroll processes while supporting the continuous improvement of systems, reporting, and HR administration practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage time and attendance processes, including validation of employee timesheets and administration of vacation, sickness and other statutory absence records.
- Collect, calculate and maintain payroll information, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with established procedures and deadlines.
- Prepare payroll calculations and reports, including earnings, taxes, deductions, disability benefits and non-taxable compensation.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, providing support to employees on payroll, attendance and compensation-related matters.
- Ensure payroll operations comply with company policies, internal procedures and applicable labor, tax and social security regulations.
- Manage payroll-related social security, welfare and tax obligations, ensuring accurate calculations, submissions and payments.
- Execute periodic and year-end payroll activities, including Certificazione Unica (CU), Form 770, INAIL self-assessment, ISTAT surveys and other statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc financial, operational and payroll reports as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration, Labor Law or related fields.
- Languages: Fluent Italian and good English, written and spoken
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration within structured companies or payroll providers.
- Specific Skills:
Excellent knowledge of payroll processes and Italian labor, tax and social security regulations.
Experience with payroll and time attendance systems.
Ability to manage deadlines and confidential information.
