About the Role
We are looking for a Business Controller to be part of of G.D. Controlling, on a fixed-term contract to substitute a maternity leave. They will support the team in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly closing, budgets, forecasts) and conducts analysis in order to monitor variances and improve product profitability.
For the assigned areas, the Business Controller will:
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports, such as Operating Income Statement
- Collect financial data on discrepancies with forecast and budget data
- Analyze and monitor financial performance while supporting the cash flow forecasting process
- Participate in the forecasting and budgeting process in terms of checking and validating the inputs, in addition to consolidating and processing aggregated financial data
- Ensure compliance with regulations, professional standards and Group policies
The position will be based in Bologna, Italy (BO).
What You Need to Be Successful
- Master’s Degree in Economics or a related field with strong interest in a finance career
- Less than 18 months of professional experience
- Fluency in English
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and trust with colleagues and stakeholders
- Innate aptitude for teamwork
- Excellent communication skills
- Personal drive and result orientation.
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 35.000, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.
A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.
The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
