How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyse market trends and segment opportunities to guide business decisions. You research and identify new business opportunities that fit our company strategy.
- Define yearly strategies in partnership with the regional sales organization.
- Develop technical and commercial proposals, including cost calculations, and tender documentation.
- Manage relationships with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Support customer meetings, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations to secure new business opportunities
- Leverage CRM data and market insights to identify opportunities, support strategic decisions, and drive business growth.
What You Bring
- You’re a recent graduate in technical field (like technical diploma or industrial/management engineering) with passion to grow and learn in industrial environment. A previous experience, as internship or 1-2 years in Sales, Business Development or customer services role, represents a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn, with an open mindset and a proactive attitude toward continuous development
- Strong interest in combining technical knowledge with customer interaction and commercial activities
- Excellent active listening skills, combined with a positive, can-do approach in daily tasks
- Ability to manage activities with short notice, effectively navigating complexity and adapting to changing priorities
- You are fluent in Italian and English; additional language skills are a plus.
- You are available to travel and meet customers or colleagues in different countries (about 10% of your time).

Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid. The power grid is the backbone of the energy transition. Siemens Energy offers a leading portfolio and solutions in HVDC transmission, grid stabilization and storage, high voltage switchgears and transformers, and digital grid technology.
Siemens Energy Transformers, based in Trento, is a key global factory within Siemens Energy and a cornerstone of the MPT (Medium Power Transformers) Europe Cluster. Our focus is on power transformers, which hold a significant presence in both the Italian and various international markets. The transformers we produce are typically designed for hydroelectric, thermal, wind, and primary distribution substations of electricity companies and distributors, as well as large industrial plants. At our facility, we create efficient, reliable, and flexible power transformers that are delivered worldwide, with our dedicated team making a real difference.

The total compensation package for this position, including both fixed and variable components, ranges between € 30.000 – € 50.000 gross per year.
Salary ranges for this role are provided in accordance with applicable local legislation. The stated range is based on the Italian labour market.
Where a role may be performed in multiple locations in Italy or abroad, compensation will vary depending on factors such as market conditions, including the local cost of living, as well as experience and qualifications. In such cases, the specific salary range for the location of interest will be communicated in the early stages of the recruitment process and, in any case, before any potential offer of employment is made.
