We are looking for a Software Developer with experience in developing and maintaining applications for LGV (Laser Guided Vehicles) systems.

About this vacancy

The resource will be involved in the design, development, and support of software dedicated to industrial automation, with a particular focus on components developed in Visual Basic 6. Main responsibilities: - Development, maintenance, and optimization of software applications for LGV systems. - Analysis of technical requirements and definition of functional specifications. - Debugging, refactoring, and updating existing modules in Visual Basic 6. - Integration of software with PLCs, SCADA systems, MES, and automation infrastructure. - Collaboration with mechanical/electrical design teams and the automation department. - Technical support during installations, testing, and commissioning at client sites. - Preparation of technical documentation and software manuals.

What we expect from you

- Excellent knowledge of Visual Basic 6 and proven experience with real-world projects. - Experience in developing software for LGV, AGV, or industrial automation systems. - Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (TCP/IP, serial, Modbus, OPC, etc.). - Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL). - Ability to perform logical analysis and troubleshooting on complex systems. - Preferred knowledge of modern languages (VB.NET, C#, Python) for updates or migrations. Completing the profile: - Analytical approach and problem-solving orientation. - Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. - Autonomy in managing activities and priorities. - Availability for short trips for technical support or commissioning.
