We’re looking for a hands-on and technically driven Commissioning Engineer to join our Industrial Operations team, reporting to the Head of Testing and Commissioning.
In this role, you’ll be involved in the testing, commissioning, and performance validation of cutting-edge energy storage systems, working closely with Engineering, R&D, and Service teams in an international and fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do

Conduct on-site testing of NHOA products and ensure accurate completion of commissioning documentation

Participate in plant commissioning activities, from installation completion through to final acceptance

Support the definition and continuous improvement of commissioning procedures for NHOA plants and products

Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams on testing activities and test bench development

Support the development and validation of control software in line with system specifications and Software Engineering guidelines

Contribute to the development and testing of HMI and SCADA applications

Support product testing activities both in-house and at supplier facilities

Provide second-level technical support to the Service team for operating plants

Perform risk assessments and promptly report hazards, incidents, and equipment issues

Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, site requirements, permit-to-work systems, and safety standards

Actively participate in HSE meetings, audits, inspections, and training activities
What we’re looking for
-
Technical high school diploma (electrical, mechanical, electronic, or similar)

At least 3 years of experience in commissioning, testing, or start-up activities within industrial or energy environments
- Knowledge of PLC development tools, including Siemens S7 and TIA Portal

Knowledge of power conversion systems

Experience with HMI and SCADA development tools such as WinCC and TIA Portal

Good ability to read and verify electrical drawings

Hands-on experience with measurement instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers

Good knowledge of English

Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods to support plant commissioning activities
