INVENTVM is seeking a motivated Product and Test Engineer with experience in analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products.
The successful candidate will support new product development and production sustain activities by developing and maintaining test solutions, participating in characterization and qualification activities, and contributing to continuous manufacturing improvement. Reporting to the Product and Test Engineering Manager, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with design, operations, OSAT, and quality teams on state-of-the-art audio and power management IC products.
- Contributes to the definition and implementation of test strategies for new analog and mixed-signal IC products
- Support design teams on Design-for-Test (DFT) requirements and production test methodologies
- Support the development of test hardware (probe cards, load boards)
- Develop, debug, and maintain test programs on Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
- Execute test program validation to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and robustness in mass production
- Perform silicon characterization, data analysis, and contribute to product datasheet validation
- Analyze production yield data and support root-cause investigations for yield excursions and test-related issues
- Support manufacturing cost optimization initiatives, including test time reduction and improved multisite efficiency
- Work with subcontractors, OSATs, and manufacturing partners to support production ramp-up and sustain activities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering and/or Test Engineering within the semiconductor industry
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Prober/Handler for wafer and packaged parts testing
- Experience in test program development and debugging
- Basic scripting and programming skills (Python, C/C++, VBA or similar)
- Understanding of analog and mixed-signal IC testing methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Experience with audio or power management products
- Familiarity with product characterization and silicon validation activities
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows, assembly, and test operations
- Exposure to reliability and qualification testing
- Experience working with OSATs and external manufacturing partners
- Knowledge of statistical data analysis tools and methodologies.
