Position Overview
The Sales Manager position for coatings to Automotive OEMs is accountable for the following:
- Sales management for assigned client accounts in the EMEA region
- Sales management in the Middle East region with focus on Egypt and Saudi Arabia
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional activities at client accounts and within the sales region of responsibility, interacting with other functions in a matrix organization
- Full accountability and management of the order-to-cash process
- Management and development of relationships with customers, distributors, and suppliers
- Monitoring of sales performance and identification of OEM needs, in close collaboration with distribution partners
- Primary interface with distributors (in selected markets), as well as direct engagement with end customers (automotive OEMs)
- Ensure fulfillment of export compliance requirements
- Contribute to defining account and regional strategies
- Provide updated and accurate market intelligence for annual profit plan preparation
- Meet sales targets
- Identify and pursue sales growth opportunities and track them in the CRM tool
Key Competence Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following competences:
- Fluent in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships in a multicultural environment
- Teamwork attitude
- Proactivity in leading and driving cross-functional activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Account management skills with Automotive OEMs and knowledge of the B2B distribution market
- Knowledge of main IT tools (Office, Outlook, Salesforce, etc.)
- Good understanding of Automotive OEM painting processes
- Value-based selling mindset
- Availability to travel within the region (20%)
- Knowledge of export compliance requirements
- Knowledge of export customs requirements
