A Customer Service Representative (Customer Support Specialist) is responsible for providing excellent support to customers by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers through phone, email, live chat, or other communication channels, while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
- Process orders, returns, refunds, and account updates.
- Troubleshoot basic product or service issues and escalate complex cases when necessary.
- Maintain accurate customer records and document interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide product and service information to help customers make informed decisions.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address customer concerns efficiently.
- Meet individual and team performance metrics, including response time, customer satisfaction, and quality standards.
- Stay up to date with company policies, products, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree is an advantage.
- Previous experience in customer service, customer support, call center, or a related role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, Freshdesk) is a plus.
