The Role:
The successful candidate will act as the bridge between Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Automation and IT teams, ensuring digital manufacturing solutions deliver value to site operations while supporting long-term governance and operational excellence objectives.
Responsibilities:
Assess the current DSME landscape and identify opportunities for improvement.
Engage with site stakeholders to understand operational challenges and support requirements.
Review and prioritise existing backlogs, user requests and enhancement opportunities.
Support the development of a sustainable operating and governance model for DSME solutions.
Drive collaboration between Operations, Quality, Automation, Engineering and IT teams.
Identify and deliver quick-win improvements while supporting longer-term digital manufacturing initiatives.
Support documentation, prioritisation, product governance and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance requirements within a GxP manufacturing environment.
Provide guidance on digital manufacturing technologies, system integration and manufacturing data flows.
Requirements:
Proven experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing environments.
Strong background in MES, Digital Shopfloor, Electronic Batch Records (eBR), equipment integration and manufacturing data flows.
Experience working within GMP/GxP regulated environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple functions and sites.
Experience managing and prioritising backlogs, user requirements and improvement initiatives.
Strong documentation and governance experience.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and execution.
Experience supporting digital transformation or smart manufacturing programmes.
