Description: The Document Controller provides document management support including project documentation, document control procedures, document progress reports, document distribution and communication workflows.
The Document Controller maintains all important documents for a particular project or the entire organization, liaising with different departments while ensuring documents are easily accessible, stored at the right location, and available to all internal services. The role often requires working to tight deadlines, ensuring all departments of the organization following the same procedure related to documents.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain project documents
- Maintain and update project archives
- Ensure that accurate information is distributed throughout the project organization on time
- Ensure correctness of document approval process
- Store electronic and paper documents for project stakeholders and team
- Assist project stakeholders in following correct document management procedures
Key requirements:
- Knowledge of Document Management tools
- High proficiency with MS Office and Autodesk AutoCAD
- BIM basic knowledge
- Oracle ACONEX or PMP Certification considered a plus
- Aconex proficiency considered a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Attention to detail
Qualifications: Technical High School Diploma. Min. 3 years of experience with Document Management, e.g. in construction/engineering company or project management consultancy. Excellent Italian, very good English language proficiency (CEFR B2 level), French language skills considered an added advantage.
