Join JBT Marel as a Service Operations Planner (DF&H - SEMEA) and help keep our field service running smoothly across Southern Europe.
You’ll be based in Parma and coordinate planning, support engineers, and make sure everything is organized and on track. A great role if you enjoy structure, teamwork, and working in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Field Service Planning and Coordination:
Assist in the efficient scheduling and planning of field service engineers to meet customer and operational needs.
Coordinate with relevant departments to arrange necessary visas and travel documentation for field service personnel.
Administrative Support:
Process invoices and quotes to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure expenses are claimed properly and in compliance with company policies.
Make informed decisions based on policies, available resources, and departmental plans.
Financial and Payroll Reporting:
Support the delivery of service hours data for payroll, including overtime calculations.
Assist in financial reporting by providing data for utilization calculations and other necessary metrics.
Training and Development Support:
Process Improvement & Problem Solving:
Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service operations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support operational and financial audits.
Address Service Operations issues and provide possible solutions to the Field Service Leadership
Qualifications
Proven experience in an administrative or operations support role, preferably within a technical or service environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3+ years of experience with operations management and/or field service scheduling is preferred
Knowledge of Service Administration processes, preferably in a Sales or Service environment.
Remains calm under pressure, is resilient in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment and able to build strong relationships with our Field Service Engineers
Guidance and motivation of people, gaining commitment from both internal and external colleagues.
Process oriented and thrives in an active and fast paced environment
Ability to work closely with a pool of Field Service Engineers and understand the dynamics and capabilities of the team.
Stakeholder handling skills and social perceptiveness.
