Role summary:
Design, build, and optimize scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform working closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into high‑quality technical deliverables. Customize Salesforce using technical development tools ensuring that the platform supports efficient processes and exceptional user experience.
Essential responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, and business / functional / technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions using configuration options and custom development.
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce components including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, validation rules, integrations, Omnistudio scripts, etc.
- Support and enhance data integrity by implementing data models, validation logic, automation, and monitoring mechanisms; develop dashboards to track data quality and user adoption.
- Build, maintain, optimize integrations and data flows between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware platforms (primarily Mulesoft).
- Contribute to Salesforce releases and deployments, ensuring compatibility with new platform features, minimizing technical debt, and supporting post-release stabilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurring issues.
- Participate in incident, change, and service request management using the company’s standard ticketing system, meeting defined SLA and performance targets.
- Proactively maintain system health through performance tuning, security reviews, code refactoring, and platform health checks.
- Identify and implement automation and optimization opportunities to improve system efficiency, maintainability, and total cost of ownership.
- Contribute to technical documentation, development / security / compliance standards, coding practices, and related knowledge sharing across internal teams.
