- Studying operational rules and key features of auction mechanisms related to BESS to contribute to pricing strategies and competitive positioning.
- Analyzing main offtake contracts for RES and BESS, aiming to identify and compare key contractual risks and assess their economic impact.
- Working with financial models to support accurate valuation of revenues across route-to-market strategies and assessing the economic impact and expected returns of different offtake structures.
- Assessing the impact of new regulatory developments on BESS revenues.
- Supporting the development and optimization of proprietary models, particularly those related to the valuation and dispatch of BESS (stand-alone and colocated) and the structuring of commercial offers.
- Supporting the Data team in data retrieval and analysis to inform BESS optimization.
- Assisting in the preparation of presentations and materials for internal committees, commercial partners, and potential investors.
Requirements
Ongoing or recently completed Master’s degree in economics or engineering disciplines.- Knowledge of the functioning of the Italian electricity market (preferably with understanding of BESS systems).
- Precision, reliability, and ability to work in a structured manner.
