Role Description
My English School Palermo is looking for a part-time teacher. Fun and creativity are encouraged with our learning-centered method. The role includes teaching a range of activities from grammar lessons to conversation classes, exam prep, in-person, and online as well as a range of ages from young learners to adults. We use a communicative methodology, and make use of technology both in and outside the classroom. Training and on-going support are provided.
Qualifications
- CELTA/TESOL/TEFL or equivalent preferable
- Native speaker
- Teaching experience is required but newly-qualified teachers may be considered
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of Italian is desired for certain courses
- You must be able to demonstrate that you have the right to work in Italy
Requirements
- Italian residence certificate
- Preferably already residing in Palermo
Hours and Benefits
- Monday to friday, early afternoons and/or some mornings and Saturday morning (school opening time)
- Five-day working-week
- Competitive gross salary: 15000€-18000€
Start date: 21 September 2026
Duration of contract: 6 months with potential for contract renewal after initial period

Pay: €15,000.00 - €18,000.00 per year
