We are looking for BIM Specialist to join our fast-growing team to be involved in design and construction processes for plant engineering disciplines.
The candidate’s main task will be to optimally develop the plant projects that will be assigned to him/her and related BIM activities. Experience in plant modeling and understanding of technical drawings is required. Working alongside and coordinating with plant designers and other disciplines involved will also be required.

Realization of BIM models according to internal and client standards and requirements

Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the design team, the BIM Specialist plays a crucial role in the creation of the discipline’s models by acting in support of the BIM Coordinator and the rest of the team. He/she will be responsible for:

The digital creation of MEP models and modeling of project information from bid phase to project closeout

Develop sizing and calculation of MEP systems within the BIM environment following design criteria prepared by Senior Designers

Collaborate with Senior Designers in design development and with the BIM Coordinator in developing the BIM process

Develop information modeling following company BIM standards and project BIM requirements provided by the BIM Coordinator

Interpret schematic drawings, layouts, and other visual aids

Create and organize drawings from BIM models, including developing plans, sections, and details
-
Work to resolve conflicts with other disciplines
-
Develop and maintain excellent team relationships
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related subject with a grade of not less than 100/110
Essential skills
-
At least 2 years of work experience in the plant engineering industry

At least 2 years of experience in BIM MEP modeling activities
-
Ability to read plant engineering drawings immediately

Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit BIM authoring software
-
Ability to be able to understand BIM processes and key documentation tools

Ability to understand and use technical and operational documentation to produce drawings and models

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software package

Working knowledge of the English language
