Your Role
In the role of a Datacenter System Engineer, you will manage and operate the datacenters in the main location Riese (HQ) and in Cusano di Zoppola, in cooperation with our global and local teams of SteelcoBelimed.
Task & Responsabilities
- Ensure and maintain reliable & secure local datacenter services

Project manager for datacenter transformation, consolidation and modernization

Requirement management, solution concepts, planning, implementation and documentation

Leading the datacenter change and asset management process proactively

Ensure data and access protection of datacenter workloads and business continuity

Cooperate with the datacenter and security engineers in Zug Plant (Switzerland) to ensure server and network protection

Close cooperation with system engineers, global supporters, application managers, partners and suppliers
Your Profile
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent datacenter system engineering, analytical and project leadership skills
-
Excellent communication skills at all levels, speak business and ICT language

Excellent ICT process and service skills in local and global context, including using ticketing workflows

Excellent knowledge regarding ICT technologies (server, network/security, domains, scripting, storage, ...)

Fluent in English (minimum B1 Level)

Willing to travel up to 10% (mainly to CH)

Individual will need to be self-motivated, highly reliable, quality driven and be able to prioritize work volume
Required Experience
-
More than 8 years in ICT Datacenter System Engineering with server virtualization, networking and storage

More than 8 years with Microsoft Technologies (Domains, Windows Server, SQL Server, Filesharing, O365)

More than 3 years with business and infrastructure applications

Datacenter Operation (AD/AAD, Permission Management, Data Protection, DC/DNS/DHCP, Monitoring)
Required Education
-
Degree in computer science (University, FH, HF, …) or equivalent experience

Microsoft certified (MCSE/MCSA) is an advantage
-
VMware vSphere, Veeam Backup; LAN Networking; NetApp is an advantage
