Main Responsabilities in the role:
- Apply process, standards, methods, and tools applicable to the métier
- Organize the program development process and its continuous improvement
- Prepare, share, and maintain the Engineering Management Plan together with the program core team and program support team addressing most specifically the
- Program development strategy (design, Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM), Cybersecurity, Verification and Validation (V&V), baselines roadmap and sustaining
- Processes, tailorings, and agreed deviations (WR)
- Technical risks / hard technical topics
- Identification of technical referents (Experts, CCN, end users, ...)
- Review of other engineering plans of the programs to ensure efficiency & consistency with the Engineering Management Plan (EMP)
- Participate to métiers reviews
- Organize with the core team members the capture and activities for continuous improvement (Return of Experience on the program engineering’s organisation, strategy, process, decisions, metrics, …) and production of métier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Lead the program development activities to deliver the program items according to the QCD commitment
- Coordinate the program development team activities
- Ensure that the product/system reaches the committed performance levels
- Develop design-to-cost approach to decrease system/product deployment cost and product unit cost
- Ensure application of decision making (design choices, make or buy, roadmap, ...) and validates decisions together with the program stakeholders
- Ensure organization, participation, and follow-up of Design Reviews
- Support other métiers (Safety, Cybersecurity, RAM, Industrialization) and ensure the link between them
- Ensure organization, participation, and follow-up of Peer Reviews of engineering work products (specification / documentation / implementations)
- To be the program’s interface on technical matters, with support of System Application Architects for systems
- Supporting technically users for program needs definition and issues
- Coordinating consistency between program baselines deliveries and needs / long term needs
- Managing User Groups / user community
- Participating to program reviews for technical support & technical reporting
- Management of the program items configuration together with the Configuration Manager
- Manage the Delivery Master List (DML) and documentation reviews rules
- Ensure requirement management and requirement report
- Organize and lead CCBs (internal and external)
- Organize delivery reviews (DyR) and ensure the program items deliveries in configuration
- Participate to SW/HW or subsystem delivery reviews
- For products, lead hardware change and definition
- Validate the configurations under PLM
- Validate the hardware evolution (MR) and associated impacts
- Support the Program Manager for engineering cost and planning management
- Provide QCD analyses & estimations on evolutions together with the program core and engineering teams
- Liaise (with the System Application Architect in case of system) with projects and tender activities (evolutions & anomalies analysis, roadmap, documentation support)
- Alert and report on any event/risks that may impact the program development and associated QCD commitments
- Validate material selection and procurement activities together with the Program Manger
- Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adherence to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

€37.500 - €50.000
