JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Service Engineer who will be the front end of the Company and represent the point of contact to the customer.
After an adequate training period, he/she will mainly carry out measurements at customers' premises using instruments and sensors produced in the Company. He/She will take care of the commissioning of the monitoring systems up to the final test to verify if the installations have been carried out in a workmanlike manner. He will take care of training and education at customers and/or in the company on monitoring tools and systems and will carry out the related analysis with reporting. This role will be based in our Bologna office reporting to Service Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- He provides diagnostic solutions to utilities and industries to improve the performance of their electrical assets through portable testing equipment, advanced monitoring systems, and professional services.
- Commissioning of monitoring systems installed at customer sites.
- Management of training in the company and/or at the offices of Group customers.
- Analysis of data collected in the field and/or sent by Group customers.
- Prepare the documentation and reports relating to the activities performed.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent scientific qualification.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (Not Required):
- Minimum of 2/3 years of applicable working experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Flexibility to frequent trips, national and international
- Fluent in English.
- Advanced IT skills with standard software (MS Office)
- Soft skill: problem solving, teamworking, autonomy, proactiveness.
- Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with the other team of the Company in the resolution of project related issues.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers.
