This position will be a key member of the Procurament Team. As a member of this team, you'll help shape the future success of Datalogic by playing a key role in making our products competitive in an increasingly complex market.
Role Mission:
Ensures development, implementation and use of standardized work processes and best practices for cost estimating and cost control.
Estimations, cost control, cost forecasting and assure that the ongoing actions to achieve the cost target are pursued by the various departments (Focus on R&D and CM).
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the target cost definition
- Contribute to the Technical cost Reduction activities while still playing a key role in guiding the process and the relationship with R&D and other stakeholders.
- Prepare the cost planning (priority list vs the target).
- Assign and check the progress for the Value Analysis actions with R&D/CM/SE
- Build up the RFQ standard format as input for the cost tables.
- Build and Maintain Cost Table for Generating Should Cost Analysis.
- Drive the Teardown Cost Analysis related to the Bom cost of Competitor product.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Engineering with a technological focus. Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
- Languages: Fluent English (written and verbal communication)
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in Cost Engineering activities or in R&D as a mechanical designer.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Base Salary (RAL): €38,000–€45,000
