A Production Operator (Operatore di Produzione) is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. The role involves monitoring equipment, inspecting finished products, maintaining a clean work area, and following company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assemble, package, label, or inspect products according to production specifications.
- Monitor production processes and report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Load raw materials into machines and replenish supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace standards.
- Assist with basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production is an advantage but not always required.
- Ability to operate machinery after appropriate training.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic numerical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
